Freeway
Another one of my rescued loves. His name is Freeway. He's about 5 years old.
I found him on the I-5 Freeway in Los Angeles, CA running on the median during
peak traffic hour. After about an 30 minutes, I finally was successful in
getting him and in the car we went...straight to the vet. I posted signs, on
the internet, dog parks, local animal hospitals - no responses back re this lost
dog. I still think of that day when I look at him. He was so little and scared
to death. It's a miracle he survived with so many cars on that highway; hence
the name Freeway :) -- Ella
Mr. Belvedere
Mr. Belvedere. He is 5 years old and I rescued him 4 years ago. His previous
owner chained him outside and whenever he barked, he would be hit in the head
with a wooden bat. After lots of TLC and much hands on training, Mr. Belvedere
is a happy and lucky dog now. He still has mild seizures resulting from the
abuse he had for the first year of his life, but nothing life threatening. - Ella

stride when she came to live with me and she took over my house and heart
